| The CNC tail servo mounts are a direct replacement for the Align plastic
parts. Each mounting braket is secured using a 2mm hex head bolt. The bolts
can be tightened down much more firmly than the standard stock parts and
the resulting clamping is very effective indeed. The mounts are drilled
with three holes on each mount which allows for the Hitec HS56 style four
bolt mounting or the alternative single screw mounting seen on Futaba,
Align or Supertec servos. The heliup parts offer no weight saving over the original stock parts. This is not a part that affects the perfromance of the heli and it's purpose is purely one of providing a more rigid and sturdy mounting platform for the tail servo of your choice. The stock part can suffer from stripped threads and rather sloppy mounting of the tail servo in extreme cases, this 'upgrade' provides a better solution. The part is manufactured very nicely and perfoms it's function exactly as one would expect. Care needs to be taken when mounting servos as the hex head bolts do allow for a lot of pressure being applied to the servo mounting lugs and it is very easy to overtighten and break off the lugs. Which is exactly what happened when I mounted my HS50 pictured above. Overall a nice part that 'does exactly what it says on the tin'.
