This page details my setup for a standard beginners Trex build. This configuration is deliberately standard as this is where most beginners are likely to start with the Trex. Please see my Upgrades or Modifications pages for more advanced configurations. OK, first and foremost the cylic on the Trex is VERY sensitive. My recommendec initial configuration is to use the innermost holes on the servo horn for both of the cyclic servos. See pictures below. |

| The collective servo should use either the outer or second to outer hole. You can get full travel with either hole on a stock Trex. The second to outer hole requires a bit of extra ATV adjustment to get full throw. The picture below illustrates the setting, also below is the correct hole to use on the servo horn for the tail to achieve full throw for the tail rotor and adequate gyro capability. | |||||
