| The following is a product overview of the RCHover Wide Gear The wide gear is an aluminium version of the T-Rex undercart. Before covering the basics here are some pictures of what comes in the package and a shot of the fully assembled gear. |

| The wide gear comes in a variety of colours, including the dark blue above
as well as red and steel blue. The undercart weighs 22g fully assembled,
so in terms of weight it is 2g heavier than the stock undercart. However,
anybody who has had their T-Rex for any period of time will know that the
stock plastic undercart struts will break at the slightest impact. Other
than looking very bling, this undercart will cope with half a dozen impacts
and can be bent back into shape afterwards. This represents a significant
cost saving over the original undercart added to which it looks a lot nicer
than the stock white plastic. Fitting of the undercart was very straight forward, all the screws are provided in the kit. Also included are some rubber tubes to stop the heli skidding around on the ground or scratching the undercart blue struts. The kit also includes the silver skids but no plastic bungs for the skids. A nice touch would have been colour coded bungs, something I'll suggest to RCHover to finish off the look. In terms of quality and build the struts are perfectly adequate, I will report back here as soon as I am unfotunate enough to bend the undercart as I would like to see if the struts will stand up to being bent back into shape following a minor mishap.
